The eleventh block to healing is a flagrant sin or habitual sin. Now, there’s a difference between temptation, falling into sin, repenting, getting out of sin, and living habitually in it. Temptation is not a sin. Jesus was tempted in all points, as we are, yet without sin.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15<\/span><\/p>\n

So, I know temptation is not a sin. But in Galatians 5:19-21, in the great book against legalism and the great statement of grace and mercy, we find a real problem. It is right at the end of this great chapter of the book of Galatians that Paul uses to defeat legalism and establish our freedom from it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It says: Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft. This reference to witchcraft is taken from the Greek root word pharmakeus, which means a drug, a druggist [pharmacist or poisoner, that is, sorcerer].\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

… hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness, reveling and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have told you in time past, they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0What is broken, can be made whole.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0What is dirty, can be made clean.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Resentment, can become forgiveness.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0What is covered, cannot be healed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Not all wounds, are visible.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0But, The Cross, is always the place of exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n
