I had an implant put in.<\/span><\/p>\n Dr. David Minkoff, MD, blocked the nerve from that tooth and injected local anesthetic into her tooth. In 15 minutes, she stood up without the cane, bent, stretched, and exercised. She said the pain feels 90% gone. She went to have the implant removed by the oral surgeon. In a few weeks, the back pain was gone, except for the leftover surgical trauma.<\/span><\/p>\n Root canals are popular in dentistry because no one wants to lose a tooth, says Dr. Stuart Nunnally, DDS, MS. But it\u2019s impossible to sterilize a root canal system, he shared. After the root canal, bacteria still reside in the tooth to flourish, and the body cannot deliver its own immune defenses to the tooth because the blood supply and nerve were severed in the root canal.<\/span><\/p>\n Dr. Joseph Mercola, founder of Mercola.com, said that root canals are a hidden source of toxicity.
