Many people are bound by dis-ease because of unresolved issues concerning people who have died. Do you know how many people have bitterness against dead people? How can you make it right with a dead person? The same is true if you do not know where the person is.
I’ll tell you how God judges it. He judges it by your heart. If you have something from your past and it’s impossible for you to make it right with the person, then you do it right with God, and it is taken care of. You do not have to carry the guilt any longer.
If someone is holding a sin against you, it is their problem, not yours. They have to get it right before God, just like you do, whether they do or do not have anything to do with you because you are standing alone before God in the integrity of your heart.
Choose to stay in freedom and not in guilt. Something in your life may be like a breach with someone, and they won’t even talk to you. They won’t make peace with you. Your ability to be free of the situation does not mean you have to resolve it personally with the person. You can come before God. He will work with your heart, but you do not have to have it resolved with anyone to be free. You have to have it resolved before God. Your heart has to make the paradigm shift concerning the issue.
I often say a short prayer command for people that I’ve offended, asking their soul/spirit to be released of offense toward me. When applicable, I go to the person to acknowledge the offense and ask for forgiveness.
