I’ve become so buried in my situation that I’m struggling to see how this road will ever end. I feel boxed in, with nothing but dark walls surrounding me. 

Is there any hope for joy to fill my life again?

It feels phony to act happy when I’m stuck in this place of hardship and pain. I don’t ever want to put up a false front, but I know I’ll be miserable if I stay here. 

Lord, if there’s any glimmer of hope, would You reveal it to me? Please show me how these walls could be colored with light. I know You are the all-powerful God who can escape through great seas, and I ask You to provide a way out for me if it’s in Your will.

Even if You don’t change my physical circumstances, I ask You to change my heart. Open my eyes to see those around me who need Your love. I know I’m not the only one hurting. If there’s any way I can come alongside others and share in their struggles, give me the courage to do so.  

I pray for Your peace to fill me as I walk this road. Thank You for seeing the future and working in this situation, even when I don’t see all the pieces coming together. Like the psalmist, I want to wait for and confidently expect what You will do through me. I receive patience to wait on Your timing, in the name of Yeshua.

I will not sell out. I will not quit in the name of Jesus.
