Scripture reference | II Kings 5: 20-27

1. This evil spirit will cause you to be jealous of the attention that your leader/pastor gets from people you feel you should get.
2. This spirit will influence you to sneak around the ministry and deal with things your way, even though you know how your pastor has dealt with them. 
3. You will be willing to hide things from your Christian leaders and brethren to be blessed. 
4. You will take every opportunity to deal with people on the side and get all you can from them. 
5. This spirit will cause you to lie to people and misrepresent your leader/pastor.
6. This spirit will lead you to give up your entire ministry future for today’s pleasures.
7. This spirit will cause you to judge the motives of your pastor. 
8. This spirit will cause you to judge how your pastor deals with people and certain situations. 

The Spirit of Gehazi quiz  

1. Do you ever feel like your Christian leader gets all the attention while you do all the work?
2. Are you ever jealous of the attention that your pastor gets?
3. Do you ever judge how your pastor handles different things, and do you think you could do it better?
4. Have you ever wondered why your Christian leader [pastor] turned down business opportunities or certain offerings?
5. Do you wish you were “the prophet” instead of doing what God was given you to do?
6. Do you scavenge everything you can that your pastor turns down [meetings, money, favor with people, etc.]?
7. Have you ever lost track of the fact that the Spirit of the Lord and the Spirit of the Prophet are always with you?
