Here’s how I usually use information on spiritual roots. Allow me to share it with you. I either open a Word or an Excel document or get a lot of notebook paper. I draw a line under each column. Each column is the spiritual roots listed above. So, there’s a column for fear. Column no. 2 is stress. Column no. 3 is anxiety. Column no. 4 is fear of abandonment. Column no. 5 is fear of the future. Column no. 6 needs more identity. Column no. 7 is the spirit of oppression. You get the flow of what we’re doing here.
Under each column, I list everything in my life or family [past or present] related to that column’s title. Next, I pray to the Holy Spirit to permit me to reveal anything related to all the columns and columns not even listed. I agree that as soon as He reveals anything to me, I will add it to the list or create a new column.
As you peruse this list, you’ll see sources of many unhealed hurts. That’s good because you’re a candidate for God’s healing for every single memory that pinches hurt in your heart and soul. The good news is you don’t have to nurse that one day longer.
