This herb comes from Chinese herbal medicine with the recommendation of nearly 2,000 years of recorded satisfactory use as a powerful immune system builder. Sometimes a vaccination or immunization can leave issues that masquerade as a host of symptoms that are seldom connected with being the true cause.
As just a single instance, who would ever think of warts under the eyes or elsewhere as being a side effect of an immunization, but they can be. Astragalus can be helpful for the common cold, provided a person has a decent diet and two to three bowel movements per day.
Astragalus is also useful for the skin to sweat and expel poisons or, if perspiration is unwarranted, reduce it. Astragalus useful for digestion, lung problems, fluid swellings, provides energy as an adrenal gland[s] nutrient and helps increase circulation. Astragalus and another Chinese herb Dong Quai [Chinese Angelica] are often combined for this purpose.

40 to 80 drops three times per day.
