Description
May be useful as poison antidote, for heart regulation, coughs, appetite, albumin [egg white] in urine, expel mucus and tuberculosis.
Bugleweed was rediscovered by Amish herbalist, Solomon Wickey, for heart conditions. Acts on blood vessels to relax them to normal size, while healing inflammation of the blood vessel caused by heart problems, self-intoxication and deteriorated hearts. The action of Bugleweed on the heart itself is to reduce the pulse to a normal speed and add power to each heart contraction.
Additionally, it may help as a tonic for the whole system, may settle the stomach and normalize the appetite. Well before 1880, Bugleweed was used for insomnia, diabetes and correcting egg-white in the urine. Bugleweed is useful for hemorrhaging from lungs and intestinal hemorrhaging with blood in the stool. Bugleweed is useful for irritation to the intestine from diarrhea. Bugleweed may be useful for mucus and pus from lungs due to dry coughs.
Suggested use
