Description
Senna may be useful to clean the bowels. It relies on the use of water, which it draws to itself for flushing out the 25 feet of the alimentary canal, known as the small and large intestines. At the first sign of not feeling good, they used See-nee tea. The idea was to clean out the source.
Although Senna contains a generous supply of the mineral magnesium for cramping muscles, Senna was usually given with Ginger or Fennel to provide more comfort by rapidly expelling the gas associated with cleaning.
Suggested use
For maintenance, 40 to 80 drops each evening. For cleansing, may put 2 to 3 tsp full and 40 to 80 drops of Ginger or Fennel in a little fruit juice for flavoring, and drink this. Then, follow this up by drinking two large glasses of water. If needed to continue for gas, may repeat the Ginger or Fennel drops.
